La Rinconada Hippodrome (Spanish: Hipódromo La Rinconada) is a race track for Thoroughbred horse racing located in Coche, a neighborhood of south Caracas, Venezuela. It was designed by Arthur Froehlich in 1957 and began construction on the site of La Rinconada belonging to the Hacienda El Valle. Its innovative stands systems was later applied in the reconstruction of the Longchamps racecourse in France, in Ascot, England, and in Belmont Park, in the United States. This hippodrome was one of the most modern in the continent, and was often compared with the best in the world. It was inaugurated on July 5, 1959.
